Hi all. Sorry for the lack of updates.

It's year 2008 alr. It's going to be a very awesome year and we definitely have more fun and exciting activities coming up. Lima will step down in Semester 2 and Mike will then take over the whole unit. Meanwhile, Mike has to prepare themselves to become outstanding future-leaders of the Unit.

Oscar will prolly be joining us in early February. We have currently recruited 21 Sec one cadets, and waiting for more to come. Anyone, please recommend the cca to your friends or whatsoever. :D

The National Campcraft Competition will be held in February. I am sure those taking part in the competition have alr known the dates. There will be more trainings coming up to prepare us further.

Congrats to those who were awarded the Eagles Award. :D

& Just a brief update for what November will be learning in Sem 1 (under Lima):
CC: Tent-pitching, Lashings, Advanced knots (if poss)
Drills: Turning, Marchin, Marching on the spot, Sizing (if poss) Basic Baton drill (if poss)

Hi all. I doubt many will check this out, but still, this blog has to be kept alive. So here goes:

Promotion test for Sec Ones and NCOs will be coming up very soon.
Sec Ones promotion test will be conducted by CI Yan Jie, while NCOs' promotion test by both CI Lup Peng and CI Yan Jie on 2 Saturdays.

Last training will be on 19 October 2007, which is tomorrow. Sec Ones and Twos will revise on whatever they have learnt this year.

On 25 and 26 October, the Sec 3 NCOs are to stay back after school for Rifle-drill training by Ridzwan Sir.

Basic First Aid course for Sec Twos will be on 19 to 31 October.

Tentative dates for Annual Camo 2007 will be on 16 to 21 October.

Just a short update to let you peeps know that this blog will be shifted to somewhere else, but not any time soon. Grace's lazy that's why.

Anyway it's so dead here so no point making announcement whatsoever.

Sec 3 Kayaking course will be on wed (7-5), and thur (7-12).
(I'm depending on my memory as I type this, so the time may not be accurate but the days definitely are.)

Area 9 ATC will be on Fri to Sun. And Monday will be the day when school reopens.

1)Sam Yong wants all Sec 3 to stay back after the kayaking course on thur as he would like to go through with us the campfire songs.
2) ATC kit list for Sec 2s and 3s have been posted on NPCC notice board so go check it out.

The National Inter Unit Amazing race ended yesterday.
Here's a big thank you to all those who came down to Pasir Ris park to make the event a successful one yesterday. Whether you are an officer, inspector, NCO, cadet, or participant, etc, your presence is greatly appreciated.

Congrats to Jun Yuan Sec for emerging as champions, Cedar girls as second, and Ngee Ann third.

Lastly, I would like to inform all of you that there will be no training next Friday, 3 August. We've all worked a lot, now is the time to rest. :)
NCOs involved in NDP rehearsal have to report for training though.
You all will be notified should there be any last minute changes/ announcement.

Cadets who have yet to get your unit T-shirt, please look for me (grace) or any other NCOs. Thank you.

3 MORE DAYS TO INTER-UNIT AMAZING RACE!

There are many events going on lately, which explains why I've failed to update this site. Those who want to know what's going on or whatsoever, please check the npcc board frequently. It's always updated.

And, there's a racial harmony event going on in school on 20 July 2007. Training will resume though.

Amazing race preparation is going on like, super duper crazy. There was a dry-run last Thursday and it didn't really turn out well. Game masters, please, you need to know your game station well. You don't wna embarass yourself on 28 july, do you?

We are in need of blindfolds, whoever willing to contribute, please pass us your blindfold next Tuesday, after school, preferably at 2PM. There will be another Dry Run for amazing race w the MIKE cadets at 2.30PM.

Cadets who have yet to submit your T-shirt sizes, please do so latest by Monday. You can look for me (grace) or any of the other NCOs.

There will also be Muster Parade next Friday, 20/07/07. Those who wanna get your BADGES, please attend training.

Lol, I know the holiday wasn't even like one. Npcc activities filling up the first three weeks and all, but like what our OC said, we need to have self-discipline. And evryone from Lima has it, I'm sure of that. :D

We won't have Field Cooking Competition this year, so if you are really interested in taking part in the Race, let your OC or TO know! Application forms have been sent out. (Closing date for the application is on the first few days of July. Submit your forms before July just to play safe. Hah)

Below is an excerpt of the email ms sharon ong, the band teacher sent to Ma'am.

"I would like to express my appreciation to the NPCC NCOs for their help in marching although it's their holidays. They have not trained a group of more than 30 so it was a challenge for them as we have 41. They have to include the basics of footdrill into a 3-hour session which they managed to do it too. Well done NCOs and cadet inspector!
Can see a significant improvement in the band's marching at the end of the session as compared to those before the holidays. It was a session of endurance, discipline and teamwork. I can say that it has bond them together. Once again, thank you very much, Kum, for lending us your support!

Hello hello!

Cheeming says this blog is somewhat dead so I'm here to revive it. Anyway, there isn't much notices nowadays 'cos training has been ceased due to the upcoming mid year exams.

There's a very important thing to be informed to all cadets though. There will be a one day trekking trip to Johore on 2 June 2007. It will be kinda similar to the one held in 2005, I think. However, we will be going with the Girl Guides this time. :)

If you are interested, please collect the consent form from ms kum, fill it in and submit it ASAP.

Do take note of these three dates [05/05/07, 12/02/07 and 26/02/07] because we'll be having our dry shoot practices at Changi NPC. I believe it's almost similar to what we did last year/:D
